HEAT Beach Sweep

On Tuesday, October 25th, 2011, a contingent of Miami HEAT employees, including HEAT Legends Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway, participated in HEAT Beach Sweep, a pro-conservation campaign aimed at preserving Miami’s beaches and preventing beach erosion. These volunteers planted 1,500 sea oats, which will help to stabilize the soil in newly created sand dunes that will establish new ecosystems.
